The Beach!

It has been HOT!!! Okay 88 degrees is really not that bad. But yesterday we felt HOT! So to escape the heat we took Abby to the beach. She was a bit indifferent about the water. She mostly just clunk to my hair as tight as possible. But overall it seems like she enjoyed it (as seen below).

 I think this is the best picture of her cute little smile. So I had to crop us out so you could get a closer look. 

 Here she is with Kyle. Kyle doesn't like to hold little babies. He says he won't hold them until they are 6 months old because then their heads won't fall off. He mad an exception for Abby and look how happy they both are. Okay maybe Abby is just happy on the inside.

YOSEMITE!!!

We LOVE Yosemite. This year we went with a group of my college friends. It was fabulous. It was Abby's first camping trip, and I have to say we were a bit nervous... camping with a 4 month old! I wasn't so sure what would/could happen. I think I was most worried that we would have no place to put her if she was frantically crying. A tent doesn't exactly muffle the sound. Although there was some crying at times, nothing was too bad. My friends were fabulous. The helped out so much. Overall we had great meals, good fellowship, a lot of laughter (especially when Jen and Jack needed us to bring them a tent), and a bit of relaxation.

4 months (a month late!)

I took this picture at 4 months but have just procrastinated at posting it. Now it's a whole month later and I have to post 4 month and 5 month at the same time. 

 I have to say... not much has changed! I think the biggest change is the fact that the 5 month old picture was VERY hard to take because Abby loves flipping over to her belly as soon as I put her on her back (as seen below).
