Moran Park

Today we had our first BBQ in the park by our house. I hope it was the first of many. It was an absolutely beautiful day! Somehow Kyle was able to score 7 lbs of filet mignon from a client. Needless to say I enjoyed that. I should have taken more pictures but of course I was slow with the camera. Here are a few of my favorites! Actually they are the only pictures we have of the event.

Katie and Dan ventured out with their 2 and a half week old Eli! Note Eli's face. I'm not sure if she enjoyed her first BBQ in the park.

Bethany did a wonderful job helping me watch Abby. She quickly snatched her up when a dog entered the park just in case. Overall it was a beautiful day with fun and friends.

I finally captured a few of Abby's precious smiles. I actually got my first ever genuine smile on Mother's day.

My Little Researcher

Abby has been coming to work with me! She just hangs out in her stroller while I get some work done. Melina is so nice about having her in the office. She always gets her to smile. Well not here.

2 months

Okay I'm a bit slow at uploading these. 2 months snuck up on us. I had to hurry just to get the picture before we headed out of town to my parents. I have to say I was not patient at all, so instead of waiting until Abby smiled she is giving Mr. Bear a left jab.

1 Month (almost two)

Wow time flies. I haven't posted any new pictures! Abby is way past a month old, but I gotta put the 1 month picture up!

Overall Matt and I have loved this time with Abby. We feel like she is getting SO big. Last weigh in 10 lbs 11 oz. She loves her boppy!

We love that she can still fit so nicely on our chest.

Matt and I have slowly returned to our "normal" life. I guess it's a new normal. I returned to work this week. I have to say it was hard, but I enjoyed being back to something I love. Abby came to work with me two days and she was AMAZING. She took a longer than usual nap and when she was awake she had so many visitors to keep her company. Overall life couldn't be better! Well sleep could be but that's about it!
