Newborn Pics

Our sweet friend Annemarie asked if her friend Emily could come and take some newborn pictures of Abby. I thought of course, our daughter is beautiful and I'd love to get this precious face captured on film. Then I secretly thought maybe she will be one of those baby models because she is just so stinking cute.



So Emily came and took some pictures and I have to say that Abby was less than the ideal model! First off we were hoping to have her sleep and just sort of pose her. Abby had different plans and decided to stay awake for 2 hours. That's longer than she has ever been awake. Ever.



She kept on giving the stink eye right as her picture was about to be taken.



Then the worst part was Abby decided this was the hour to let loose. She pooped three times and peed twice! In one hour! Of course she pooped the moment we put her on the nice white blanket. Emily somehow was able to edit the poop stain right out. AMAZING!



So maybe she won't be a baby model because we can't even begin to control her bodily functions. But she sure is cute and I'm so happy to have these precious moments captured.
